Federal Building, Dental Patient Waiting Room Notice that FX Design specified beautiful coffered ceiling panels instead of typical flat drop ceiling tiles. It is all in the details, from the wood inlayed to the gold finials that crown the window treatments. The entire decor creates a classic, soothing atmosphere for waiting patients.

From Foyer to Reception Room Operatory Room
When patients enter this historic Federal Butter yellow walls and textured building, they are greeted with Antiques, carpeting in these Operatory from the original newel post to the rooms add comfort & warmth. Sheraton game table, they feel they have traveled back in time. |

Federal Foyer & Patient Check In
This floor includes the foyer, check -in area & waiting room for a Cosmetic Dental Practice. The dentist purchased a building built in the late 1780's and wanted the spaces to reflect a the Federal period from when it was built. FX Design utilized the existing drop ceiling grid to insert coffered ceiling tiles reminiscent of the historic period. We located a Federal antique sofa and had the original horse hair stuffing cleaned and treated for anti microbial properties. To pick up the hue in the brick of the fireplace we selected a stunning red strip fabric for the upholstery. Because this is a dental foyer & waiting room we wanted to create a sense of serenity, so we needed to tone down the vibrancy of the red striped upholstery by specifying a dark green tone on tone leafy pattern for the floor covering and soft hues of green and creams with accents of red for the window treatment. We then selected a commercial wall covering with a soothing green pattern to complete the decor. The side tables, as well as the magazine stands are Federal reproductions as is the mirror above the fire place. All the textiles were fire treated to meet fire safety codes in a commercial space.
